My Teaching Philosophy:
I believe learning should be sustainable and applicable, where as it has this sort of stickiness. A stickiness as in staying power without further inducement, such that the potential of the learner is unlimited and the attitude of the learner is such that there is a high level of responsiveness to education and the information received.
My responsibility, as an educator, is to facilitate the use of a universal language that extends beyond the boundaries of ability. To inspire by my enthusiasm for teaching and by utilizing the available resources and tools that I have knowledge of, and to continually and actively search for new and more effective ways to connect with the learner and teach.
The expectations for my students are simple: show up, participate fully and to the best of their ability on any given day with the tools and resources they have access to, while not relying solely on the teacher/educator for their learning experience, and continually cultivating innovative and effective ways to communicate their learning experiences through their instruction to others.
